To celebrate the launch of our website, Better Beginnings held a free family day in the Perth Cultural Centre and the State Library of WA on Sunday the 15th of April.

 

Lots of little, fun things you can do every day to help build your child's literacy, numeracy and reading skills.

Better Beginnings Carnivale

Carnivale will have face painters, stilt walkers, storytellers, live music, art projects for children including shadow puppetry workshops and the Better Beginnings Book Cubby where you can make your own book. All activities are free and we look forward to seeing you on the day!

The State Library of Western Australia subscribes to online books and games that support the development of early literacy skills. Have fun exploring them with your family!
