It's never too early or too late to start reading...

It's always a good time to discover or rediscover the enjoyment, fun and power of reading – anywhere, anytime, anyhow. Make reading for fun and pleasure a part of your everyday life.

You don’t have to be a great reader. Just give it a go.

Maybe you like to read a newspaper or a magazine. Perhaps it’s the few quiet moments reading your child’s favourite bedtime story. Take a short break and read something you enjoy for just 15 minutes a day - you could get hooked!

There are many different ways you can experience the joy of reading – and it won’t always involve a book. Choose what works for you on your reading journey and read anything that takes your fancy – you never know where it will take you.

Not sure where to start? Try one of the books we’ve recommended or choose from the selection of interesting and quirky reading ideas. There are also 3 Stories to Read Anytime Anywhere Anyhow you can read or listen to online. The kid in you would enjoy reading The Hairy Tales of Hero Boy just for a bit of fun.
