With Britannica Junior you can access safe, accurate and interactive information with your child from home with your Western Australian Public Library card. To enter Britannica online, choose your local government from the drop-down menu, then enter the barcode number found on your library card.

Britannica Online has three zones with level appropriate multimedia content suitable for all ages and information needs:

Britannica Junior: Find fun and safe multimedia information with your child, with introductory level content perfect for children up to 10 years of age. Britannica Junior is a great site to start practicing searching skills with your child to find safe and appropriate  information online.

Britannica Student: Britannica Student offers intermediate level multimedia content aimed at young students up to 14 years of age, perfect for helping you guide your child with their homework or school projects or simply discovering more about their world.

Encyclopaedia Britannica: Encyclopaedia Britannica provides general content for adults, supporting lifelong learning for all ages.

Britannica Online is licensed under a State-wide agreement through the State Library of Western Australia and is available for personal use from home if you are a Western Australian Public Library member.
