Sing With Me! Better Beginnings pilot program for two year olds

Sing With Me is a pilot program available in 2016 through participating public libraries. Check the list of participating libraries to see where the Sing With Me program is available.

The Better Beginnings Family Literacy Program recognises that sharing books, songs and rhymes from birth builds early language skills and improves future literacy outcomes. The program introduces children to developmentally appropriate books and language activities; supports parents as their child’s first teacher; raises awareness of the value of reading together; and links families to the range of free services available at their local library.

 - The Sing With Me Pack includes:

 - A beautiful Australian children's picture book

 - A nursery rhyme booklet with activities

 - A CD of nursery rhymes

 - A nursery rhyme puzzle magnet

 - Information for parents about reading with their child

 - 30 Books to Read Before You're 3 booklet
