Let's Count Wildflowers

One spider orchid shines star-bright in early morning. Two banksias stretch out wide, their sleepy seed pods yawning... Explore Australia's unique flora and count along from dawn to dusk.

Point out any words you think that are new to your child when reading this book.  Explain the words rather than exchanging for simpler words, that's how your baby builds their vocabulary.  Children with larger vocabularies when they arrive at school find it easier to learn to read.
