The aim of the Better Beginnings Indigenous Program is to provide culturally relevant early literacy resources to Indigenous families, build the literacy confidence of Indigenous families and children, and promote the key early literacy messages to Read, Talk, Sing, Write and Play with your child every day.

What is currently available through the Indigenous Program?
How can I be involved in the Little Fulla Yarns program?

The Little Fulla Yarns reading pack is for Aboriginal families with children aged 0-5 years living in remote communities. In 2023, we will be expanding delivery of the program across the Kimberley and Pilbara regions.

Little Fulla Yarns is distributed through public libraries, health services and early years community organisations working closely with families living in remote communities. Our Little Fulla Yarns distributors support families as their child's first teacher to build on their early literacy skills with bub.

If you work at a public library, health service or community organisation in the Kimberley or Pilbara and would like to become a Little Fulla Yarns distributor in your community, please reach out via our contact page
